TRISHA YEARWOOD AND GARTH BROOKS PAY MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO BARBARA MANDRELL AS SHE RECEIVES ARTIST CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME INDUCTION

Trisha Yearwood paid musical tribute to Barbara Mandrell at the Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner in Nashville on July 10, when Mandrell received the Artist Career Achievement Award.  Yearwood performed an acoustic version of Mandrell's hit "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want To Be Right" and started "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool," when Garth Brooks made a surprise appearance, echoing George Jones's performance in the original recording.

Yearwood called Mandrell "a rock star and a pioneer," while Brooks said, "Your contribution to Country music -- enormous. Your contribution to entertaining -- immeasurable."
