The BIG 615 and SEVENS Radio Team Head to CMA Fest

Flagship station The BIG 615 and the rest of Garth BrooksSEVENS Radio Network family are ready to take part in CMA Fest this week in Nashville, as tens of thousands of people descend on Music City for one of country music’s biggest weeks of the year!

The festival kicks off on Thursday, and that morning The Garth Channel host and Program Director Blake Carter (who also helms Tailgate Radio’s weekly “Tailgate Top 20 Countdown”) will host the event’s Dr. Pepper Amp Stage. That afternoon, The BIG 615’s Storme Warren can be found onstage as the host of the Chevy Riverfront Stage.

On Friday, The BIG 615’s Sinead Burgess – whose show follows Storme’s every weekday – will host a special “Country for Children” performance event on the CMA Closeup Stage inside Fan Fair X at the Music City Center. That’ll follow the morning’s kickoff event, as Trisha Yearwood – featured as “Artist of the Day” – is joined by several of her co-writers for The Mirror: Reflections on Songwriting, a look at music she’s written and recorded for her upcoming new album!

Friday afternoon, Storme will be back on the Chevy Riverfront Stage as host. He, Sinead and Blake will also make their way to Garth and Trisha’s Friends in Low Places, as will Tailgate Radio mastermind and Program Director Jonny Jazzno. They’ll step behind the bar to serve up still more fun by tending bar for a bit at the downtown Nashville entertainment venue and honky-tonk!

Lastly – on Saturday – Sinead will be back onstage, hosting CMA Fest’s Hard Rock Stage as several exciting new and emerging country performers take the stage.

Storme, Blake, Jonny and Sinead’s appearances at CMA Fest come just a little more than a week ahead of the second anniversary of The BIG 615’s launch, which marked the start of the SEVENS Network story!
