Garth Brooks Tells Indianapolis More Tickets Are Coming – And How To Get Them

Garth Brooks wants fans to know NOW that the secondary market isn't their only choice for tickets to his Blame It All On My Roots Tour. For those hoping to see Brooks in Indianapolis at the original ticket price, there's good news.

AEG teamed with Ticketmaster to create a dedicated fan registration page that will notify registered fans when additional tickets become available at the original ticket price. The site — blameitallonmyrootstour.com/indianapolis — gives fans a direct path to future ticket releases instead of forcing them to rely on the vastly inflated resale market.

Fans can register now to be notified when those additional tickets go on sale.

The effort comes as demand for Brooks' tour continues to soar, and ticket prices on the secondary market climb to staggering levels. For the tour's original opening night on Friday, Aug. 21, some seats in Section F4 are listed for around $11,000 each, while other resale listings range from several thousand to a few hundred dollars across different sections and nights.

"I need to find those people and tell them I've seen the show, and it's not worth that!" Brooks laughs.

Regardless of the section or the show, what resellers are asking is a far cry from the original ticket price Brooks established for the tour: $140 per ticket before taxes and fees.

"With the first city, there is no way yet of telling if some seats are obstructed views or not. Could the number of tickets they release be a lot?" Brooks asks. "When you multiply the number by four shows, it increases the opportunity to make the party bigger. We will know more the closer the show gets."

As production moves into each arena, crews determine exactly how Brooks' stage fits in the space. Once that process is complete, seats previously held for staging and production needs will be released. His goal is to make as many of those seats as possible available to fans at the same price offered on the original on-sale day.

"The important thing is there is a place to go to register for tickets at the original price in case someone couldn't get them the day they went on sale," Brooks says. "The secondary market is NOT the only place to go."

The Blame It All On My Roots Tour marks Brooks' full-scale return to the arenas where many of his most beloved hits first came to life. Due to overwhelming demand, the Indianapolis kickoff now includes four performances at Gainbridge Fieldhouse — Aug. 20 through 23.

All tickets are priced at $154 ($140 ticket price, $4 facility fee, and $10 service charge), plus applicable taxes. Every ticket sold through Ticketmaster is offered at the same price.
