Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood Invite Nashville’s July 4th Crowd to Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk for Free Hot Dogs

Is anyone more welcoming than Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood? Can anyone throw a better party?

The massive July 4th celebration at the couple’s Lower Broadway Nashville bar, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, will quell any doubts. Garth and Trisha invited Music City’s estimated 200,000 Independence Day guests over to 411 Broadway for free hot dogs on the holiday.

Garth and Trisha recently shared a sweet video on social media where they cooked up the idea. Garth, clad in an apron, stood at the grill with tongs in hand. He asked Trisha what they were doing for July 4.

“From the looks of you, we’re cooking out,” she said.

“Of course, we’re cooking out,” he replied. “How many people do you want to have over is what I’m asking.”

Trisha, who is preparing to release her new album, The Mirror, on July 18, quipped: “I don’t know, how about a quarter of a million?”

James Garrido, who is part of Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk’s management team, promised to throw “a helluva party” on July 4th. The bar will feature live music from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and will start passing out free hot dogs at 2 p.m. People can eat as many as they want, and the bar will keep serving them until they run out. The Honky-Tonk will have no cover charge, and tickets are available for the rooftop, where guests will have a pristine view of Nashville’s fireworks display. The party officially starts at 8 p.m.

Nashville’s fireworks display is one of the largest in the nation and will be accompanied by a live performance from the Nashville Symphony.

“We love our guests and are so excited to celebrate 4th of July with them,” Garrido said. “This idea came to be when we were brainstorming how best to spend the special day with them.”

Tickets to view the fireworks from FILP’s rooftop are available here.
