SEATTLE SHOWS UP BIG FOR GARTH BROOKS — AND HE’S COMING BACK FOR THREE
When Garth Brooks thinks about the places that helped build his touring history, he can't leave the Pacific Northwest off the map.
“When people think of Country Music, they rarely think of the Northwest,” Brooks said. “But Seattle, Portland, Vancouver ... I can't imagine touring without them.”
Now, Brooks is headed back to Seattle for the first time in nine years — and he’s bringing three shows with him.
Brooks’ “Blame It All On My Roots” Arena Tour will take over Climate Pledge Arena Friday, Nov. 13; Saturday, Nov. 14; and Sunday, Nov. 15, with the newly added Sunday show scheduled as a matinee. Tickets for all three concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. PT Friday, Oct. 23, at Ticketmaster.com/GarthBrooks.
His return comes with decades of memories. Brooks knows Northwest crowds don’t just fill the seats — they become part of the show.
“Seattle and Tacoma ... just love that area,” Brooks said. “They seem to not only show up, they show up in a BIG way, ready to sing. We have used live tracks from there multiple times on our live records.”
Now, they’ll have that chance again. Brooks is recording performances throughout the “Blame It All On My Roots” Arena Tour for a new live album, meaning each city and crowd could potentially become part of the finished project.
Fans will have plenty to see while they sing along to all his hits. The tour pairs the songs that made Brooks an arena headliner with a production designed to put fans in the middle of the action. The Drum Pod takes center stage, while towering LED screens known as “the Halo” encircle the 360-degree platform.
Tickets are $155.50 ($140 ticket price, plus a $5.50 facility fee and $10 service charge), plus applicable taxes at Ticketmaster.com/GarthBrooks. The shows feature both end-stage and in-the-round seating, with all seats reserved, and every seat in the house offered at one price.
No presales or advance box office sales are available, and there is an eight-ticket limit per purchase.
