SALT LAKE CITY GETS A FOURTH SHOW…AND A NEW OPENING NIGHT

When bot interference infiltrated Garth Brooks’ efforts to put a third show on sale in Salt Lake City for his Blame It All On My Roots Tour, the entertainer jumped into action…shutting down the on-sale 30 minutes into the process. He also quickly assured ticket-buyers that their tickets will be honored at the planned afternoon concert on Sunday, October 11…and then announced a new opening night for his visit to the city.

Garth’s Salt Lake City stand at the Delta Center will now begin Thursday, October 8…with tickets for the added show set to go on sale Wednesday, September 23 (at 10:00am MT) via SeatGeek.

“If the powers that be are not going to make scalping illegal, can you please make bot activity during on sales illegal?” Garth asks, adding, “It’s just not fair for the REAL person.”

He also offers quick assurance for those who purchased tickets before others were shut out by bots. “Hats off to those who stayed in and weathered the storm,” he says. “It's important you know the tickets you have bought are valid, and the Sunday show will be played. It will be my goal to make it the best show of the tour so far.”

Ticket bots have plagued major tours for years, but SeatGeek, the Delta Center, and Garth are working to ensure that tickets get in the hands of real people.
