GARTH THRILLS BANK OF AMERICA STADIUM CROWDS WITH TWO PROMISED MAKE-UP SHOWS - OVER 84,000 IN ATTENDANCE

Over 84,000 in attendance for both shows!

The patience of Garth Brooks' fans in the Carolinas was rewarded when Brooks played two make-up shows at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on July 15 and 16.

Brooks was originally scheduled to perform at the stadium in October 2020 but was forced to reschedule three times due to COVID and other scheduling conflicts.  Money was refunded for the shows that didn't happen, and fans queued up again to purchase tickets for the July 16 show. Brooks added a brand-new opening night on July 15 after hearing on social media that many fans were disappointed.

Brooks said, "We learned from socials that people who had great seats for the shows before Covid, did not get great seats for the make-up shows. So we decided for the make-up show in Charlotte, we wouldn't even open up the top deck and just do two shows in the lower bowl if the demand was there. Now any ticket in Charlotte is guaranteed a great seat."

In total, over 84,000 were in attendance for both shows.  According to Théoden Janes of The Charlotte Observer, it was Brooks who was most excited about "finally — finally — FINALLY — getting the chance to perform here . . .  And given how much pent-up fan demand there’s been for this event, that’s really saying something."
