GARTH BROOKS: “THIS is how you start a tour!!!”

Garth Brooks’ Blame It All On My Roots Tour has begun…and if the photos and reactions posted and shared – let alone what he experienced onstage – are any indication, we’re all in for, as he described it afterward, “one hell of a ride!”

“THIS is how you start a tour!!!” he proclaimed after the show. “INDY…night one of four, and you absolutely blew the roof off this place!”

“This place” was the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis – the first city on the new Blame It All On My Roots Tour, which officially began Thursday night with the first of four performances in the city. It’ll be followed by another four shows in Denver(September 4, 5 & 6 at Ball Arena)…and four more in Chicago (September 10, 11, 12 & 13 at Allstate Arena). And Washington, DC – where tickets for a pair of concerts September 18 & 19 at Capital One Arena go on sale Friday morning (10:00am ET via Ticketmaster or the Ticketmaster App) – will be the fourth stop.

Garth’s more-than-two-hour-long first-night set was filled – as he’d promised for this “retro tour” – with the hits he first brought to life in arenas. “When I made the decision to start the tour in Indianapolis, I sure was right!” he told the sold-out crowd. It was a night full of music from start-to-finish, with Garth noting at one point that he’d “waited way too long to sit around and talk – I just want to hear music and play music!”

“If this is the beginning, we’re in for one hell of a ride!” he posted on socials afterward. And there’s little doubt he’s right!
