GARTH BROOKS SITS DOWN WITH JANE PAULEY ON CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING ON NOVEMBER 19
In an interview with Jane Pauley, Garth Brooks describes his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Honk on Nashville’s Lower Broadway as a way of paying back Music City for launching his career. The conversation will air on CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING on November 19 at 9 a.m. ET on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+.
“If you’re lucky enough to get to sell some records in this town, you owe this town,” Brooks explains. “And so I’m sitting there going, ‘How can I pay back?’”
Brooks is also clear that the honky-tonk, set to open its doors on Black Friday for a Dive Bar concert that will stream free on Amazon Prime, will welcome everyone.
