Garth Brooks Guest Hosts the “Tailgate Top 20” on Tailgate Radio

Garth Brooks takes his role as a team player seriously…and that includes Tailgate Radio, TuneIn’s official “gameday party station” that’s part of his SEVENS Radio Network. So he’s stepping up – and stepping in – this week as host of the weekly Tailgate Top 20 countdown while host Maria Taylor is on maternity leave!

Each week, the Tailgate Top 20 counts down the biggest party hits from that week in a given year. Garth will be showcasing hits from the end of January 1997 – when medical drama ER was the most-watched show on TV…Bill Clinton had just been sworn in for a second term as president…DVDs were just about to be introduced in the U.S….and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was just three weeks old! He’ll be playing music from No Doubt, Metallica, the Spice Girls and more!

You can catch the Tailgate Top 20 all weekend – it airs Friday (2:00pm and 9:00pm ET), Saturday (3:00pm ET) and Sunday (1:00pm and 8:00pm ET). SEVENS Radio personalities Storme Warren (from The BIG 615) and Blake Carter (from The Garth Channel) have also taken turns behind the mic for Maria recently; Storme will be back again next weekend (February 2-4), followed by Blake (February 9-11), with other guest hosts to follow!

Tailgate Radio – available only on TuneIn – plays the greatest anthems from the greatest genres of music. When you want your music to match your passion for sports, nothing beats Tailgate Radio. Whether listening alone or with your crew, Tailgate Radio keeps everyone hyped up and ready for whatever comes next. It’s loud…it’s fast…and that’s why its motto is “Try to keep up!”
