Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood Induct Their Long-Time Business Manager, Cheryl Harris, Into the SOURCE Nashville Hall of Fame
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood had the distinct honor of inducting Cheryl Harris, their business manager of 35 years, into the SOURCE Nashville Hall of Fame during the 22nd Annual SOURCE Hall of Fame Awards ceremony. SOURCE awards recognize the many contributions of “women behind the music.” Honored with Harris were Lori Badgett, Gina Keltner, Pam Russell, Mary Self, and Kay West.
Harris is indeed a trailblazer in the industry, guiding clients with a steady and gentle hand through the financial intricacies of their history-making, record-breaking careers. Harris is co-founder and partner at O’Neil Hagaman, LLC, one of Nashville’s largest, most diversified business management and consulting firms dedicated solely to the entertainment industry. Formed in 1984, the company represents entertainers, producers, publishers, record labels, writers, and industry executives.
“For someone that loves being behind the scenes, I’m a little overwhelmed standing in front of all of you,” Cheryl said. “God has truly guided me for my entire life, bringing so many special people and unexpected opportunities my way.”
"It is wonderful to see the people you love get the praise and acknowledgment they deserve,” Trisha said. “Cheryl Harris works harder than anyone we know, and artists like us don’t get to do what we do without folks like her. Garth and I love her, and we're so grateful she’s been in our corner for all these years.”
