FRIENDS IN LOW PRICES: Friends in Low Places Rolls Out New Happy Hour and Weekday Lunch Deals
If there’s one thing Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood understand, it’s how to bring people together — and their Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk is leaning all the way in.
The four-floor Broadway destination has introduced two new weekday draws: a Monday -Thursday happy hour and a cheeky lunch special dubbed “Friends in Low Prices.”
From 3 to 6 p.m., happy hour brings approachable bites and easy drinks. Highlights include pizza dough pretzel bites ($5), chilled corn salsa and chips ($6), and smoked wings from Trisha’s dad’s recipe for $7. Drinks stay just as laid-back, with Busch Light for $7.77, PBR for $8, and cocktails like a Jamaican Mule and Plantation Rum Punch for $10.
“We are excited to be bringing our good vibes, great drinks, and even better company with our Friends in Low Places happy hour,” says Brett Shane, general manager at FILP. “Offering high-level food and drink at a discounted price point allows us to give back to the community and further engage with our guests.”
Earlier in the day, lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For $15, guests can choose from a pulled pork sandwich with peach barbecue sauce, a BLT on Texas toast, or a Caesar salad wrap — each served with fries or salad, plus a soft drink and a chocolate chip cookie.
It’s a community-minded move that makes the honky-tonk just as inviting before the neon lights come on — and gives locals a reason to drop by and stay a while.
