Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk Offers Extended Hours, Special Menu Items, Skyrocketing Artists (and Air Conditioning) During CMA Fest
Garth Brooks has made a career of memories at CMA Fest (formerly Fan Fair) over the years. At CMA Fest 2025, he will help a host of rising singers and their fans create memories of their own. His Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, located on Nashville's famed Lower Broadway, will offer extended operating hours, special menu items, and an entertainment schedule featuring some of country music's most popular up-and-coming artists.
CMA Fest is set for June 5-8 in downtown Nashville. And while tickets are required for many shows and events at CMA Fest, FILP is free and open to the public.
The doors will open early at 9 a.m., and staff will be serving Trisha's Breakfast Burritos (featuring breakfast sausage, cheesy eggs, chives, hash browns, pineapple avocado salsa, and cilantro), coffee, and water outside of Friends to keep fans fueled and get the party started.
However, FILP will host two Bluebird Café performances on June 4 – unofficially kicking off CMA Fest. The songwriters behind Garth's biggest hits and Trisha Yearwood's new album will wow the crowd with Trisha's team stepping up for the 1:30 p.m. show. Those writers include Leslie Satcher, Bridgette Tatum, and Rachel Thibodeau. Garth's writers will arrive that evening. Pat Alger, Kent Blazy, Tony Arata, and Victoria Shaw are set for the 5 p.m. show. Doors open at 4 p.m. While both shows are sold out, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, FILP will offer a pop-up retail space inside the honkytonk stocked with special Garth merch.
When people are finished shopping, they can head over to the bar where Big 615 personalities and possibly a few artists might make appearances as guest bartenders.
While FILP's inside stage always hosts Nashville's brightest up-and-coming artists, the CMA Fest lineup has shifted to include many signed artists already earning impressive streaming numbers and country radio airplay. The bar partnered with White Claw to bring in the additional artists.
