Garth Brooks: The Limited Series contains Sevens, Scarecrow, and Double Live, as well as The Lost Sessions, a CD of previously unreleased songs, including Brooks’ tribute to Chris LeDoux, “Good Ride, Cowboy.” Other single releases include “That Girl Is A Cowboy.” In addition, the set contains a DVD with eight live performance selections available for purchase for the first time.  Garth tied the segments together with his own commentary, sharing his memories of these career-defining moments.

The compositions included on The Lost Sessions are songs that Garth recorded during earlier sessions, and include material written with some of his favorite writers: Steve Wariner, Marcus Hummon, Bryan Kennedy, Dan Roberts, Kent Blazy, Dewayne Blackwell, David Stephenson, Jenny Yates, Gordon Kennedy, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Bruce Robison, and old friends Mike McClure and Randy Taylor.

Garth was enjoying his retirement in Oklahoma when Wal-Mart approached him an exclusive release of material he had in the vault. Only after seeing how the multi-year pact could be “an amazing deal” for his fans did Garth finalize the agreement. Garth Brooks: The Limited Series quickly broke pre-order records at Walmart.com, and The Lost Sessions is double platinum.
